Develop your talents by applying your expertise within our facility in Schenectady, as the Industrial Electrician:
Review work orders assign and proactively attend the work. Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer’s performance specifications Diagnose faults or malfunctions and confirm findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace unit Share ideas for improvement with department manager Must be open to work more than 8hours when needed, including weekends

A minimum of 8000 hours of electrical experience Must have achieved the minimum of 2000 hours of technical training or the equivalent of a journeyman status by the state electrical standards. Proficient in all aspects of electrical voltage, distribution, code interpretation and application. Must have the ability to work without supervision and to train mechanics of all levels in safe electrical work practices. Must have high school diploma/GED. A minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing/industrial maintenance Knowledge of PLC computer programming, robotics, and related electronics is an asset. Selected candidate must possess their own tools Millwright or Mechanical experience an asset MUST be able to pass a skills assessment
