Electricians are expected to do good in strong decision making, problem solving, troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills in a very dynamic environment. Demonstrate ability to prioritize workload and effectively meet deadlines, also to have the ability to work independently and in a multifunctional team with minimum supervision.
Principal Accountabilities:
Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installationsInstall, examine, replace or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, fiber-optic and coaxial cable assemblies, lighting fixtures and other electrical componentsTest electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistanceMaintain, repair, install and test switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators and reactorsMaintain, repair, test and install electrical motors, generators, alternators, industrial storage batteries and hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systemsTroubleshoot, maintain and repair industrial, electrical and electronic control systems and other related devicesFire-alarm troubleshooting and installation/constructionDesign and carry out minor modifications on industrial equipmentConduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance recordsInstall industrial instrumentation and related devicesUnderstanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulationsMaintaining a safe and clean work environmentOther duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:

Must be able to perform maintenance electrical tradesExperience in Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems, ability to troubleshoot and diagnosticsPrior experience in production related workExperience with SAP or a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)Experience with Arc flash and shock training
