So, if you get excited about making a real difference as part of a winning team like we do, we want to hear from you. **The Headlines** **_:_** Molson Coors Beverage Company is currently recruiting for the position of **Industrial** **Electrician** (with PLC field experience) for our St. John's brewery. The ideal candidate for this position is a team player who possesses outstanding communications skills and has strong problem-solving abilities. The candidate, who will provide maintenance and asset care support to the operation, will be comfortable in a fast paced, multi-tasked, consumer packaged goods environment. **The Responsibilities** **_:_** The ideal candidate will also possess the following skills: + Willingness and ability to always practice safe work habits + Self-motivated, hard-working and energetic + Ability to troubleshoot problems quickly and to complete repairs effectively and efficiently + Dependable, with the ability to work overtime, including weekends, when necessary + Ability to work in a team environment, involving shiftwork, with minimal supervision + Works with a continuous improvement mindset + Ability to analyze diagrams, schematic drawings and service manuals to determine work procedures, troubleshoot equipment, order parts, etc. + Ability to perform predictive, preventative and operational maintenance using procedures such as instrument calibrations, thermography, etc. + Experience working with high-speed packaging equipment, pumps, compressors, conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics and PLC's + Responsible for troubleshooting equipment performance problems on the floor using controls systems knowledge and experience + Responsible for maintaining documentation for PLC program changes and on the production floor + Programming experience with Allen Bradley, and Siemens PLC’s. + Mechanical experience / hydraulic and pneumatic systems an asset + Experience in CMMS (Computer Maintenance Management System) also an asset. + Support the new equipment design reviews when required to review the status of the machine design and provide input in reference to the plant’s specifications and good design practice + Participate in maintaining spare parts to ensure we can support any potential equipment failures on controls related items + Respond to any equipment downtime issues in plant + Support equipment capital improvement projects in the brewery In addition the candidate must: + Work with a safety mindset and ensure brewery and Asset Care compliance with all relevant EH&S legislation and regulations + Champion a culture of proactive and preventative maintenance with safety, quality, and reliability as key priorities + Lead the team's pursuit of continuous improvement under the umbrella of World Class Supply Chain (WCSC) + Be responsible for developing and following the brewery Asset Care strategy aligned to MCBC's + Always operate in alignment with Our Purpose, Ambition and Values **The Other Qualifications:** + Red Seal certified Electrician with either a dual ticket in instrumentation or exceptional PLC and controls/field experience + 5+ years’ experience in a high-speed, manufacturing environment + Ability to participate in a culture of continuous improvement with an EHS mindset + Experience in an Asset Care department is a plus **Job Posting Grade: N/A** Molson Coors is committed to an inclusive workplace.
