Actual pay will be based on various factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, proficiency for the role, and internal equity. In addition to base pay, Kwik Trip gives 40% of pre-tax profits back to our coworkers with bonuses ranging from 8-12% of each coworker’s gross annual wage depending on company profitability and offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401k, paid time off, and more.
Kwik Trip, Inc.’s Operations Maintenance team is looking for a well-rounded Electrical Maintenance Technician.
Job Description:
As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for performing a wide variety of tasks which include installing, maintaining, testing, and repairing electrical systems throughout the Kwik Trip campus, as well as installing new power distribution and phone/data systems.
Primary responsibilities include:
Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems. (power supplies, fire alarm systems, and other equipment.)Assist in determining needs for new power distribution panelsInstall, troubleshoot, repair distribution panels, conduit, and wiring while following code requirementsAssist in determining needs for additional power, phone, or data linesCalculate materials needed for projects
Qualifications:
Wisconsin Journeyman Electrical licenseMinimum of eight years electrical experienceKnowledge and experience in wiring to safely install power and lighting circuitsKnowledge and experience of phone/data wiring to safely install phone/data runsDemonstrate safe practices when working on electrical systemsAbility to prioritize and manage multiple projectsAbility to work alone or as a teamAbility to work within safety and regulatory standardsPossess a valid driver’s licenseKnowledge of fire alarm and security systems is a plus
Physical qualifications: Stand up to 8 hours; lift up to 80 pounds; bend, reach, stoop, grip, and twist frequently; work in a variety of weather temperatures and conditions
Work Schedule:
40 hours/week working Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm with occasional weekend or on call duty as needed
