Position Summary

This role is responsible to provide support and continual improvement of operations’ labor, warehouse slotting, and process improvement initiatives across the network. This position is involved in supporting both strategic projects and engaging with operations teams across the network to track and improve operational processes. 

Here's what you’ll do: 

Conduct labor time and motion studies and process improvement audits.  

Develop and maintain discreet labor standards for various operational positions.  

Develop and provide associate labor standards and process improvement training.  

Provide process support for operational special projects and implementations.  

Conduct internal and external operational analysis for operational metrics.  

Assist in warehouse design and layout changes to improve performance.  

Execute a regular cadence of tactical re-slotting associated with seasonality, promotions, item/cubic velocity, and labor optimization, working with local Inventory Control teams. 

Ensure that slotting allows for efficient pallet building, minimizing damaged cases, and allowing for the most efficient pallet while minimizing replenishments and travel distance for selectors. 

Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed. 

Here’s what you’ll need:  

Bachelor’s degree (required) in Industrial Engineering.  

One to three years of industrial engineering experience.  

Ability to work collaboratively across varying levels of the organization

Strong attention to detail

Experience conducting time and motion studies   

Strong communication skills both written and verbal  

Knowledge of MS Office suite   

Design Development experience with AUTOCAD   

Ability to collect data, analyze trends (and make decisions)
