This role will support mid to large scale manufacturing groups by developing new processes or by improving the existing processes to gain efficiency and cost savings. ResponsibilitiesDevelop process flows, design and draft layout of equipment, materials, assembly stations, people flow and facilities. Provide time study and capacity analysis data. Analyze the layouts and processes to optimize material flow, labor efficiency, safety, quality, productivity and ergonomics. Develop short- and long-term solutions to problems found. Measure, establish and optimize capacity specs/targets (OEE and cycle times) Applies statistical methods and performs mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing assembly processes, labor requirements, and production standards.Work with ME to schedule and sequence job plans to support effective work flow. Conduct and participate in progress meeting with management. Present current state and future state processes to large audiences.  Develop documentation and procedures to ensure compliance specific to customer and regulatory production requirements and specifications. Travel as requiredPerform other duties as needed.RequirementsMinimum Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Education with the following specialties preferred: Manufacturing, Mechanical, Mechanical Technology, Aerospace, Automotive, Industrial. 3+ years Industrial and Factory planning experience.Experience with 2D/3D modeling tools such as Revit (preferred), Solidworks etc. Knowledge in OEE, capacity planning, cycle time analysis and line balancing.Ability to analyze data for process improvements. Experience doing detailed analysis necessary to make data-driven decisions on warehouse or production line design.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specification documents. Strong written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency in MS office.
