/*generated inline style */ Job DescriptionAs an Industrial Engineer, you will play a key role in optimizing our manufacturing processes to ensure safety, efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. You will lead continuous improvement efforts, using Lean, Six Sigma & Industrial Engineering capabilities to further develop our continuous improvement culture.
Essential Functions:
Employ advanced techniques such as Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Kaizen events, and Statistical Process Control (SPC) to drive meaningful process enhancements and cost savings.Create and analyze VSM’s for all key product lines, looking for opportunities to streamline routings, reduce waste, and optimize manufacturing lines.Conduct capacity analysis and identify improvement initiatives to increase efficiency (OEE).Gather and analyze historical data, forecast future demand, assess available resources, balance capacity & demand, and identify constraints.Participate in Gemba walks, continuous improvement initiatives, and Kaizen events.Champion a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization and provide training to cross-functional teams on lean principles and best practices.Work as part of a cohesive team with production engineering, quality, program management, and operations.Perform all other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
Hands-on experience with real process improvement initiatives including performing time studies, process walks, creating spaghetti diagrams, building Kanban systems, etc.Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and Problem-Solving Methodologies.Solid interpersonal skills – ability to communicate and influence at all levels within the organization.Experience with Arena, Simul8, or other systems simulation software.
Preferred Qualifications:
