We are looking for an Industrial Engineer and support a maintenance program. This is an exciting opportunity to work with airfracts along the US Border.
Your duties include:
Plans prepares issues and controls production schedules integrating multiple program schedule requests into one executable schedule for production teamsResolves conflicts between competing programs for common resourcesAdvises management of the status of work in progress material availability and potential production problems to ensure that personnel equipment materials and services are provided as neededCreate maintain and status network-based Master Production Schedules in support of E-6B programsFully understands critical path schedule network processing driven by logic durations and date constraintsExperience with IMP/IMS schedule structure as well as schedules based on Work Breakdown StructuresExperience exporting schedule data to Excel and working with responsible parties to gather and report schedule status and productivity metrics per weekly and monthly reporting cyclesExperience with critical and driving path identification and analysisExperience resource loading schedules including both labor and materialExposure to MRP/ERP and shop floor MES systems with experience aligning program schedules with the manufacturing/production systemMotivated to work independently with minimum supervision yet understands the importance of the Master Production Scheduler role in contributing to the overall success of the program teamFamiliarity integrating external customer or subcontractor program activity into the master production scheduleAnalyzes and designs sequence of operations and work flow to improve efficiencies in plant and production facilities and equipment layouts and establishes methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnelMay establish or assist in establishing accident prevention measures and may manage training programs for personnel concerning all phases of production operationsConducts studies pertaining to cost control cost reduction inventory control and production record systems.
