Responsibilities
+ Research, design and develop manufacturing processes to improve flow
+ Prepare and maintain detailed layouts of buildings and equipment.
+ Design, develop, test and/or source various tools, machinery and equipment
+ Performs product/process analysis for cost reduction, quality improvement, and improved efficiency.
+ Represents manufacturing on cross-functional teams.
+ Lead problem solving and continuous improvement teams.
+ Work with leaders in the business to determine needs and projects.
+ Evaluate data and implement technological improvements
+ Evaluate employees’ tasks and responsibilities
+ Other duties as assigned.
+ Quantifies and reports on the cost-benefit of projects
Education
+ Bachelor’s degree with a major in Industrial Engineering or equivalent
+ 0-2 years of relevant experience
Knowledge and Skills
+ Knowledge of production machinery, processes, and standards
+ Understanding of lean manufacturing and process control
+ Critical thinking and structured problem-solving skills
+ Understanding of ergonomics
+ Project management
+ Able to perform cost-benefit analyses and present to leadership in a simple format
+ Able to present complex information to management and other stakeholders
+ Design, develop, test and/or source various tools, machinery and equipment
+ Performs product/process analysis for cost reduction, quality improvement, and improved efficiency.
+ Represents manufacturing on cross-functional teams.
+ Lead problem solving and continuous improvement teams.
+ Experience using computer-aided design (CAD) platforms
+ Lean Yellow Belt certification or higher
+ Intermediate experience in Microsoft Excel
