Summary of Role:
As an Industrial Engineer, you’ll collaborate with other members of the Industrial Engineering department, Finance, Facilities, Manufacturing Engineering & Product Integration teams to support Capital Expenses, assist with fab capacity data and ultimately improve factory output and reduce cycle time. Clear communication, critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential for this role.
Essential Responsibilities include:
Understand Capital processes and support Capital execution/tracking
Understand Capacity Planning Systems and methods to calculate fab capacity/cycle time
Create detailed documentation of business processes, IE specifications, and operating procedures
Support various departments in improving factory output using advanced analytics
Participate in and/or lead process improvement teams and other small project technical teams
Other Responsibilities:
Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs
Required Qualifications:
Education – Graduate of Bachelor’s in Industrial Engineering or related field with at least 2 years' working experience
Language Fluency - English (Written & Verbal)
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
Knowledge of Factory Physics and Principles
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior related internship or co-op experience.
Demonstrated prior leadership experience in the workplace, school projects, competitions, etc.
Project management skills, i.e. the ability to innovate and execute on solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong planning & organizational skills
Knowledge of Wafer Fab Production
Knowledge of Capacity Planning
Lean six sigma certification
Shift Pattern:
Candidates must be able to work in the following shifts:
8.15AM - 5.15PM - Morning Shift
1.00PM - 10.00PM - Afternoon Shift
11.00PM - 8.00AM - Night Shift
