Industrial Engineer
Our Client, a Staffing Company, is looking for Industrial Engineer for their San Antonio, TX location Responsibilities: + Responsibility is to support Engineering projects developing technical drawings that help translate engineering and architectural designs into detailed plans used in building products and structures. + Their day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with engineers and other professionals to clarify design specifications, layout updates using AUTOCAD software, place and follow up purchase orders for new tooling and equipment to produce drawings and checking design drawings to verify they’re accurate and meet industry standards. + Extensive working knowledge of AUTOCAD software, 2D AND 3d, to be able to prepare technical drawings efficiently + Reorganization plan of Industrial Engineering and Manufacturing departments into Process Engineering did not include replacement for IE position in charge to perform layout updates, those responsibilities plus tooling and equipment integration where transferred to NPI; activates which were not in the original department scope. Requirements + We are looking for at least 3 years of experience and preferably, but not required in Automotive/Truck industry. + Engineering degree is a must and Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing would be strongly preferred + AUTOCAD Experience (2D and 3D layouts) + Manufacturing Experience (Line balance, PFMEA, process mapping, Standard work, etc.) + Mfg.
