Job Title: Industrial Engineer

Job Description

The Industrial Engineer will design tools, equipment, and jigs for connector manufacturing processes. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize production workflows, enhance product quality, and implement innovative solutions that drive operational efficiency. The responsibilities will include setting up and troubleshooting new equipment/work stations, writing work instructions, and training the team.

ResponsibilitiesDesign tools, equipment, and jigs for connector manufacturing processes.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production workflows.Enhance product quality and implement innovative solutions for operational efficiency.Set up and troubleshoot new equipment/work stations.Write work instructions and train the team on new processes and equipment.Essential SkillsBachelor's degree in industrial or mechanical engineering.3-5 years of tool/equipment design experience.Proficiency in Solidworks.Knowledge of manufacturing processes, such as machining, injection molding, or additive manufacturing.Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).Project management experience.Additional Skills & QualificationsHands-on experience with set up and troubleshooting.Experience in process development and process improvement.Familiarity with manufacturing standards such as AS9100 and ISO9001.Work Environment

The role is based in an office environment within a manufacturing setting. The site is very clean and organized, with significant recent investments in facilities. The company offers paid holidays (13) and 2 weeks of accrued PTO during the first 12 months!

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $90000.00/hr.
