Job Description

In this role, you will provide carry out time studies, maintain std. time data, analyze losses data / OEE/ TEEP.
Implement std. times with production and ensure data quality for IE systems.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

 Analyze available machine capacityCalculate required production manning based on production volume targetsCollect and prepare data for capacity debottlenecking, strategic projectsDefine machine layout for production area and micro work place layout to ensure high efficiency and ergonomic for operationDefine layout of material storage areas in production to facilitate efficient material handling and ensure FEFO principleCarry out material flow and work process analysis, lead time analysis and job evaluation studies.Carry out benchmarking studies comparing process key figures with other plants and Identify possibilities for process improvement based on the analyzed data in cooperation with Business Team of the production area. Calculate potential savings of identified measures in the production area.Drive improvements of the standards in production (e.g. workplace design, design of work organization, processes, layout, material flow design)Plan and implement the improvement projects agreed with the business team of the area and present project status and results during business team, multi level meetings or similar forums.Actively participate in business team meetings, follow-up on efficiency and losses development, improvement of OEE/TEEP, performance goal setting and ensure the CBS approach is being applied within the cross functional business team. Follow up on correct application of standards with production and support development of Standard operating procedures.

Qualifications

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE

B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering or related fieldAt least 2 years of Experience in Manufacturing processExperience with participating in cross functional projectsIndustrial Engineering & lean manufacturing specific knowledge

M.S. degree in Engineering or related fieldAnalytical and problem solving skills and toolsAffinity and experience to shop floor and manufacturing processesProject ManagementMethods of time study (REFA/ MOST/ MTM)MS Office skills (especially Excel & PowerBI)

THE ENVIRONMENT

This includes safety wear such as company issued/approved steel toe shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, etc.  as needed in the required areas.  The job is within a non-climate-controlled environment where you will be exposed to temperature swings (hot/cold), forklift and pedestrian traffic, and noise.The role involves various physical tasks, including lifting and operating machinery, with comprehensive training provided.
