Determines the most efficient sequence of operations through evaluation of human work factors, quality control, inventory control and production coordination. Establishes methods for maximum utilization of facilities and personnel. Conducts studies to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control and production record systems. **Job Responsibilities (continued)** **Job Details/Responsibilities** + Develop manufacturing solutions that support the operations strategic directives through the application of statistical methods and performing mathematical calculations. + Analyzes, creates and develops facilities layout to support cycle time reduction and productivity improvements. This includes meeting with suppliers or vendors, staff and management personnel regarding purchases, procedures, product specifications, and presenting project status. + Perform capacity analysis for headcount and equipment, as well as maintaining labor standard and headcount/ equipment profiles. + Offer technical support to other departments in flow, ergonomics and productivity projects. + Develops and maintains productivity metrics. + Identifies and eliminates non-value added activities using continuous improvement tools and DMAIC methodology. + Develop manufacturing methods, labor and equipment utilization methods and cost analysis systems to promote efficient staff, materials and facility utilization. This includes analyzing BOM and routing processes focusing on business strategies. + Ensure compliance with all TPR procedures and all applicable regulatory agency requirements. + Other duties as assigned. **Working Conditions/Physical Requirements** **Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA)** + Lean Manufacturing and/or Project Management certified are a plus. + Fully Bilingual (English and Spanish). + Proficiency in PC based tools such as MS Office (Excel, Word, Project and Power Point), AutoCad and general web-based applications. **Qualifications/ Background Experiences** + Bachelor Degree in Engineering Field (Bachelor Science in Industrial Engineering). + Zero to two years of work experience with a good understanding of specified functional area.
