Job Description

As Industrial Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring efficient business growth by collaborating with local suppliers to secure cost & capacity management. Moreover, you will also support/guide suppliers in enhancing their efficiency and productivity management. 

Key Responsibilities:  

Determine Standard Minute Value (SMV) of products using General Sewing Data (GSD). 

Secure seasonal capacity offers of supplier through minute-based capacity verification. 

Collaborate with internal stakeholders and secure collaborative costing process. 

Work with internal product team/technologist/quality and supplier to optimize product SMV through automation or autonomation/method development/workplace engineering. 

Support/guide suppliers improving efficiency and lowering production costs. 

Collaborate and support value stream/business tech team to develop tools for internal process improvement. 

Manage projects based on organizational needs. 

Qualifications

What you need to succeed: 

Academic background in Industrial/Textile Engineering 

4-6 years of experience in similar role, preferably in manufacturing and buying industry 

Good knowledge in SMV calculation, GSD/PMTS/MTM, Production planning & process, etc. 

Good experience in concept of work study, workplace engineering. 

Ability to multi-task and manage various project elements simultaneously.  

Strong analytical & negotiation skill. 

Experience in coordinating and managing stakeholders.   

A flexible, positive, and inspirational team player.
