Job Description

The Industrial Engineering Intern will support the transformation of the Madison plant through observation, identification of improvement opportunities, implementation, and documentation of standard work. This role will help drive decrease in cost, increase in productivity, decrease in customer lead time from the plant, and improvement in employee engagement.

Required Qualifications

Enrollment at an accredited college or universityTarget majors include Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Biomedical EngineeringExcellent communication skills and ability to articulate technical problems in clear and simple termsStrong initiative and ability to work independently and in teamsTeam player with strong interpersonal skills, capable of working within a diverse team

Desired Qualifications

Prior intern or co-op experience in the manufacturing space, preferably on a shop floorDemonstrated analytical abilityProven leadership skills and experienceStrong organizational skills and attention to detail
