Position Summary:

The Industrial Engineering Intern is responsible for supporting projects and operations of various CNC machining centers in order to facilitate production. This effort includes, but is not limited to, assists in the development of processes for manufacturing in accordance with ISO-13485. This individual works with department managers, supervisors, and operators to ensure production is running smoothly.

Conducts time studies to verify the cycle times for our various productsConducts audits to verify the in-house processes of our various productsAssists with data collection and data analysisAssists with uploading of corrected data into the new systemProvides process improvement suggestions based on time study findings to upper managementMaintains efficiency of production thru machine and process improvementEnsures quality objectives while controlling costsFollows deadlines and maintaining production schedulesAdheres to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policiesEnsures Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your roleRepresents the company in a professional manner and uphold the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties
