Industrial Engineering Intern
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Industrial Engineering Intern to join our team at the Atlanta Airlines Terminal (AAT) project. The intern will assist with various projects aimed at improving service delivery processes, enhancing productivity, and reducing costs. This is an excellent opportunity for a student or recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Jacobs provides facility operations and management services to the Atlanta Airlines Terminal Company, LLC, at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. Position is able to perform the following: * Assist in the analysis and optimization of service delivery processes. * Conduct time studies and work measurement to identify areas for improvement. * Support the development and implementation of process improvement initiatives. * Collect and analyze data to identify trends and make recommendations. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve service issues. * Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations. * Participate in continuous improvement activities and lean quality projects. * Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Basic knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus. * Previous internship or co-op experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
