Industrial Engineering Internship: Operation Instructions Commonality
Introduction

The Development & Engineering (D&E) sector is responsible for the specification, design and realization of the products in the ASML portfolio. Within the D&E, the Electronic Development (EDEV) department defines, realizes and qualifies the electronic functions and modules of these products. In the Manufacturing & Equipment Engineering Source group within EDEV, we are the Industrialization Concurrent Engineering group that acts as the interface of the factory and field to the designers. We are responsible for creating crystal clear work instructions and introducing new products to the factory and field. Design review, product quality, cycle time, availability and cost reduction are our main focus areas, and the end goal is to create new products first time right.

Your assignment

As part of this internship, you will investigate how the operation instructions' creation can be optimized to make it reusable between different systems.

For this assignment, some of your tasks will include:

Compare Electrical Infrastructure (EI) operation instructions between different systems and compile a list of delta's on operation instructions (parts in / parts in it / tools /...);

Document the recommendations on what is needed to increase commonality between platforms and how this can be achieved;

Make this work also on a higher system level.

This is a MBO, Bachelor's or Master's internship for 3-5 days a week with a duration of 6 to 12 months. The start date is as soon as possible.

Your profile

To be a match for this internship, you:

Have a background in Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering;

Are analytical and have a proactive mindset;

Have good communication skills in English (verbal and written).

Other requirements you need to meet:

You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship; You need to be located in the Netherlands to be perform your internship. In case you ‘re currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter includes the willingness to relocate. If you are a non-EU citizen, studying in the Netherlands, your university is willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).
