The Industrial Engineering Lead will be situated in Janaszówek chocolate manufacturing facility and reporting to Industrial Engineering Manager. They own business performance delivery & improvement of the site/value stream against regional/global strategy and Supply Metrix. This role is highly future oriented and covers long-term factory capacity planning, optimal resources allocation and development/deployment of site investment plan. They will achieve this by bringing insights and recommendations to the business to drive decisions, maintaining capacity drivers, assessing trends, evaluating risks and opportunities. This happens via performance management, SCMR, assets health check, CAB review, Value Leadership processes where the Industrial Engineering Lead plays the role of facilitator or active participant.

This role gives the opportunity of professional experience in a high scale, complexity, and speed manufacturing/supply environment. Janaszówek is one of the biggest MARS chocolate manufacturing facilities with a strong legacy and great ambitions in the deployment of automation and digitalization agenda. This role has strong exposure to senior stakeholders on local and regional level interacts with all functions on Site, regional Segment and Central IE Teams and with Site IEs from other sites. Is part of regional & cross-segment communities within the MARS network. The job holder acts with a high level of standing alone

What would be your key responsibilities?

Business Performance & Improvement:

Owns business performance delivery of specific factory value stream.Owns KPI standards on site incl. long term improvement roadmap (e.g., assets efficiency matrix, non-quality cost, crewing standards)Runs big data analytics, scenario planning & modeling of KPIs.Plays an active role in weekly/periodical performance reviews evaluates and communicates performance against KPI targets, addresses gaps closure actions, call outs risk & opportunities.Owns Cost Loss Tree standard on site and governs cost-saving process

Prepares improvement recommendations in interaction with Supply Excellence VS Leads and VSMs:

Stay in charge of long-term site capacity. Governs the S&OP feeding processes to ensure right assumptions for long-term capacity planning (e.g., efficiency rates, time available).Manges conflict business objectives to ensure optimal resources set up behind long term supply plan delivery.Optimize site portfolio and design complexity. Governs optimal portfolio innovation deployment to the site.Participates factory SCMR to cover assigned deep dive topics.

Contributes to Project request write up and Market activity evaluations:

Support development of long-term capital investment strategySupport deployment of long-term capital investment strategy (drafts capital projects)Support innovation projects deployment on site.

What are we looking for?5+ years of professional experience in supply/manufacturing operations1-3 years’ experience in roles focused on driving improvement, loss elimination, resources planning.Master’s degree (technical, economical, or logistic field preferred)Drive for results and action-oriented approachStrong problem resolution and communication skillsStrong customer focusGreat technical skills and proven track record in project managementSystems knowledge: MS Office (especially excellent Excel knowledge)Fluent in written and spoken English
