Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Industrial Engineering Technician. This role is based out of our Greenwood, SC location.
The Industrial Engineering Technician supports Continuous Improvement engineers in optimizing production processes and systems to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality within our manufacturing environment. This role involves a combination of hands-on technical work, data analysis, and collaboration with various stakeholders.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $52499.97 - $76999.96 a year.

What you’ll do: Process Analysis and Improvement: Analyze existing processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement. Conduct time studies and use analytical tools to evaluate production methods.System Design and Implementation: Assist in designing and implementing new systems and processes, considering factors like equipment layout and workflow optimization.Production Planning: Help in determining production schedules, estimating resource requirements, and forecasting demand using mathematical models and simulation tools.Workforce Optimization: Analyze labor utilization and work methods to enhance productivity and reduce costs. Design efficient workstations and develop standardized procedures.Quality Control and Assurance: Implement quality standards, develop testing protocols, and conduct statistical analysis to identify areas for improvement.Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect and analyze data related to production output and efficiency. Use statistical techniques and data visualization tools to generate reports and present findings.Cost Analysis: Evaluate material usage, labor costs, and equipment efficiency to identify opportunities for cost reduction.Project Management: Manage projects related to process improvement, system implementation, or facility layout changes. Develop project plans, coordinate resources, and monitor progress.Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with engineers, production managers, and other stakeholders to gather input, address concerns, and implement process improvements.Qualifications:Required (Basic) Qualifications:
Associate’s Degree in Industrial Engineering Technology or other related technical discipline from an accredited institution.Two years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.Must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship.No relocation benefit is being offered for this position.
