Join our team and start your journey today! **Major Areas of Accountability:** + Commission and Start-up Vilter industrial refrigeration compressors and equipment in Canada, with possible U.S. commissioning work as well. + Coordinate and assist Copeland Sub-contactors with Preventative Maintenance and Warranty work. + Perform technical troubleshooting and problem resolution for Canadian customers, with support from Copeland and Vilter Engineering, Parts, and Service personnel. + Conduct/participate in technical training for Copeland and Vilter equipment + Work with and assist the Sales and Business Development teams where possible: + Assist with developing estimates for Commissioning, Preventative Maintenance, and Warranty work. + Participate in joint sales calls with other Copeland team members when needed. + Participate in trade shows when needed. + Become a trusted advisor for customer technical inquiries. **Basic Qualifications:** + Certificate of qualification 313A Refrigeration & A/C Mechanic or equivalent. + Minimum 10 years' experience with Industrial Refrigeration + Minimum 10 years' work/field experience + Knowledge/experience with HVACR controls + -Microsoft Office proficiency as applicable for preparing service reports, scheduling appointments, expense reports, etc. + Must be able to freely travel between U.S. and Canada + Authorization to work in Canada without sponsorship now and in the future. **Preferred Qualifications:** + -G1 Gas Ticket is an asset + Working knowledge of Copeland Scroll, screw, or reciprocating technologies is an asset + Working knowledge of CO2 systems is an asset + Working knowledge of discrete electronic controllers is an asset **Working Requirements:** + Must entertain and travel in the evenings/weekends. A driver’s license is mandatory for employment. Travel required 40% of the time. Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during the annual merit review process. In accordance with the Ontario Employment Standards Act, 2000 (ESA), the base salary range for this role is $120,000 - $150,000 CAD annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
