Indianapolis, IN (hybrid working)

An exciting opportunity has a arisen for an Industrial Hygienist to join our Indianapolis team. You will be the subject matter expert (SME) in Industrial Hygiene. This position will serve as a key technical resource responsible for the development, implementation and sustainment of industrial hygiene programs.

Key Accountabilities:

Proven track record of driving incident reduction results achieved through the application of sound technical judgment in the development and implementation of industrial hygiene strategies and tacticsKnowledgeable of applicable safety standards and be able to resolve complex issues outside of established regulations and be able to assess, analyze, identify and solve workplace environment issues/hazards across the R-R portfolio by performing and guiding others in the monitoring, sampling and evaluation of our work locationsFacilitate responsible person code of practice relating to Industrial HygieneDefine and monitor the overall business development requirements for Industrial HygieneIdentify root causes for high potential / actual major incidents. Coach AP’s, RP's and Managers to deliver active involvement in major incident investigations and reviewsUse good communications practices to support improvement, influence and changeMaintain good relations with internal and external Regulators

Basic Requirements:

Associate degree with 7+ years of Industrial/Occupational Hygiene experience, ORBachelor’s degree with 5+ years of Industrial/Occupational Hygiene experience, ORMaster’s degree with 3+ years of Industrial/Occupational Hygiene experience, ORJD/PhD, OR9+ years of Industrial/Occupational Hygiene experience in lieu of a degreeMust be (CIH) Certified Industrial HygienistIn order to be eligible for consideration, you must be a U.S. Citizen

 Preferred Requirements:

Master’s degree in Industrial HygieneExperience in working with stakeholders in a large complex organization.Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment
