Industrial Maintenance Mechanic – Cambridge, ON

This 50 + year established client manufactures sustainable products to the construction industry across Ontario. This role will join a maintenance department in an organization where many have worked for 10 + years because it’s a great place to work!

Wage: $35 – $45 hourly DOE

Experience & Qualifications:

Strong mechanical aptitude Heavy industrial / manufacturing work experience as a maintenance mechanic Understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanics Welding, fabrication and electrical knowledge would be an advantage Ability to read and understand blueprints, manuals and parts catalogs Relevant trade ticket / training would be a strong asset 3 + years in a related role in an industrial environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Highly organized and detail oriented Responsible, professional and reliable 

Duties and Responsibilities Include:

Troubleshoot conveyor systems, mixers, forms, and equipment through out the plant Inspect, identify, and repair equipment and machinery breakdowns Work collaboratively to troubleshoot issues, minimize downtime Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and building systems Oversee contractors when professional repairs are necessary Perform other related duties as assigned
