We are offering a $5000 sign-on bonus for all new hires, after they reach 180 days of employment ($1000 at 30 days, $1500 at 90 days, and $2500 at 180 days)
Intro:
This position can pay up to $34.20/hr., with a shift increase for second and third shift and potential for overtime.
There is potential to progress quickly within levels based on completed training and demonstrated skills on the job.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Maintenance Mechanics perform skilled work in the operation, predictive and preventative maintenance and repair of the facility’s real property, power industrial trucks, and plant utility systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Follows all company personnel safety, food safety, attendance, GMP policiesProactive in the daily plant operations as well as set up and/or breakdownWork to maximize plant efficiencies, reduce costs, and maintain product qualityCompletes daily log sheets, communicates effectively, and is proactive in recognizing and reporting unsafe conditions and/or other mechanical concernsAssist in maintaining a relevant and accurate mechanical inventoryAccurately and consistently change out partsLubrication, conveyor belt repairs, power train & bearing maintenance, motor and gearbox replacement, fork truck & pallet jack maintenanceMaintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical equipment in a timely mannerAble to work effectively under time constraintsAble to use measurement devicesAble to perform electrical and mechanical predictive and preventative maintenance as taskedMust be able to work overtime and/or weekends as neededPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
The Team Member will work a flexible schedule if needed in a cold, wet, humid environment with temperatures ranging from 35 to 50 degreesThe Team Member will stand, sit and use hands and fingers to handle or feel 67-100% of the timeThe Team Member must be able to taste or smell 0-33% of the timeMust be willing and able lift and/or move up to 45 lbs. 67-100% of the time, 50 lbs. 33-67% of the time and 100 lbs. 0-33% of the time.The Team Member will push/pull 300 lbs. 33-67% of the time.The Team Member will ascend and descend stairs 67-100% of the time.The Team Member will bend, squat and kneel 33-67% of the time.REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a minimum of (3) years of mechanic work experience documented in the work history section of the application or be a graduate of an industrial maintenance training program. (can be a combination of employers as long as experience is at least 3 years)ATTN Prior Tyson Workers:
Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 180 days and are limited to 3 times of employment
