Our client, a leading manufacturer in the food industry, is looking for a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team in Brunswick, GA. This role is essential in supporting smooth and safe production by performing mechanical and electrical repairs, preventive maintenance, and general facility upkeep in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment failuresPerform preventive and emergency maintenance to minimize downtimeConduct welding, soldering, cutting, and fabrication tasks as neededRead and interpret manuals, blueprints, and work ordersMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment following OSHA and GMP standardsAssist with building maintenance and facility repairs, including piping and insulationCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure operational efficiency

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required; technical school training preferredMinimum of 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing settingProficient in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systemsFamiliarity with TPM practices is a plusStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periodsBasic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)Strong communication skills and fluency in English

Pay & Schedule:

Pay Rate: $26 – $32 per hour, depending on experienceSchedule: Friday – Monday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (4-day, 10-hour shifts)
