Our client, a growing manufacturer, is looking for an Industrial Mechanic to join their team in Hamilton, NJ. This position focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving automated assembly and packaging lines to ensure optimal production performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and configure machines, tools, and conveyors according to production needsOperate and monitor packing machinery to ensure safety and efficiencyTroubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtimeInspect filling, labeling, and coding processes for accuracy and qualityPerform routine testing, calibration, and maintenance of equipmentClean, oil, and make minor mechanical adjustments or repairsSuggest and implement improvements to increase efficiency and outputMaintain accurate maintenance and production recordsCollaborate with team members to ensure smooth production transitionsFollow all company safety policies and maintain a clean work environment

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of experience as a mechanic or maintenance technician in manufacturingSkilled in diagnosing and maintaining pneumatic systems, motors, gearboxes, and conveyor systemsProficient with hand and power tools as well as diagnostic equipmentStrong communication skills (verbal and written)Able to work independently and as part of a teamPhysically able to stand for extended periods, bend, kneel, and lift 40+ pounds regularly

Pay & Schedule:

Pay Rate: $25.00 – $35.00 /hour (based on experience)Schedule: Monday – Friday, 1st Shift
