Our client, a leading manufacturer specializing in sustainable packaging solutions, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team in Monroe Township, NJ. This role involves performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on production equipment and facility systems while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on facility and production equipment.Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic malfunctions.Assemble, install, and set up new equipment and molds.Maintain work areas, machines, and tools in a clean and safe condition.Follow safety protocols, including lock-out/tag-out and Job Safety Analysis procedures.Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).Operate power industrial equipment such as forklifts and scissor lifts.Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a mechanic in a similar environment.Proficient in using precision measuring equipment and reading schematics for fluid power and electrical systems.Competent in tubing, piping, cutting, and welding tasks.Basic knowledge of electrical systems, lubrication procedures, and hydraulic components.High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training preferred.Must provide own hand tools.Physically capable of working in confined spaces, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 35 lbs.

Pay & Schedule:

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour, based on experience.Monday: 8:15 AM – 8:15 PMTuesday: 3:30 PM – 12:00 AMWednesday & Thursday: 11:45 PM – 8:15 AMSunday: 7:45 AM – 4:15 PM
