Veolia Environnement (Paris Euronext: VIE) achieved consolidated sales of 28.508 billion euros in 2021. **Job Description** The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic, reporting to the Maintenance Manager, is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, repairing, and installing mechanical, electromechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment at our organic processing facility. This role also involves overseeing and leading the daily maintenance activities carried out by both Veolia personnel and contractors. The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic will be expected to perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance of the site's various equipment by Veolia standards. **Main Responsibilities:** + Repair, maintain, install, replace, troubleshoot, and diagnose various machinery and mechanical equipment, including centrifuges, pumps, conveyors, hydraulic presses, dewatering presses, belts, and fans, utilizing tools and spare parts provided on-site; + Disassemble machines and repair, replace, or adjust parts as needed. Clean and lubricate equipment, parts, and machinery; + Maintain equipment in proper operating condition; + Provide expert advice on troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment maintenance-related issues; + Organize required parts for specific maintenance activities.; + Work from engineering drawings, rough sketches, manuals, or verbal instructions to install equipment according to diagram specifications; + Ensure that all necessary maintenance is completed in a timely and efficient manner; + Complete work orders as required and ensure appropriate follow-up communication; + May be required to perform machine operator duties on occasion; + Assist co-workers with any questions or issues regarding task completion. **Qualifications** + DEC or DEP in industrial maintenance mechanics/milwright or relevant experience; + Possess a valid 433A Millwright, 426a Millwright, certification. It is a strong asset if the candidate is dual-ticketed (309a electrician or 422A electrician ); + Minimum of 2 years' experience as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic, preferably in a heavy industrial environment, such as waste mangement, water treatment, chemical processing, petrochemicals, cement production, or metal processing. ; + Proven knowledge of using tools, power tools, and shaft alignment tools.; + Act safely and professionally and wear appropriate attire including the required personal protective equipment (PPE); + Ability to lead and mobilize the work of contractors; + Interpersonal, teamwork, and customer service skills; + Good time management, priority setting, and ability to manage and resolve technical issues quickly; + Exceptional communication skills; + Demonstrate a high level of proactivity and independance; + Experience in updating the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) with accurate data in accordance with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) is a valuable asset. **Work Environment:** This is a full-time, permanent position at a 24-hour organic processing facility. The candidate will be required to work Monday to Friday, totaling 40 hours per week, with shifts scheduled from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM and 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM. Please note that hours of operation may change, and the candidate must be available during peak production periods. Additionally, the ability to work under pressure occasionally is essential.
