Job Summary:

\r\n

Provide mechanical support service in response to operational changes resulting from malfunction, breakdown, relocation, replacement or other modification of existing mechanical systems and/or equipment.

\r\n

Essential Functions, Duties & Responsibilities:

\r\n\r\nMust achieve Minimum Effectiveness Level (MEL) within 3 years of Hire Date\r\nAssist maintenance team and support all aspects of the maintenance department as needed or directed\r\nComplete maintenance work orders accurately and on time\r\nPerform emergency equipment repairs alone and/or with assistance of other IMT's\r\nPerform preventive maintenance on plant equipment and machinery\r\nWork in accordance with quality, safety, sanitation standards, quality polices and guidelines\r\nAbility to work in a team based environment\r\n\r\n

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

\r\n\r\nFollow diagrams, operation manuals, manufacturing instructions and troubleshooting malfunctions\r\nComplete all appropriate documentation as required by IMT system and management\r\nCommunicate with all levels in organization\r\nAbility to work independently to make decisions with minimal supervision\r\n\r\n

Education & Experience:

\r\n\r\nGeneral industrial mechanical maintenance and/or electrical system experience preferred\r\nHigh School Diploma or GED Preferred\r\n\r\n

Additional Requirements:

\r\n\r\nMust be able to complete a post-offer physical examination successfully in accordance with position functional capacity requirements\r\nWill be required to work in elevated areas above 4 feet\r\nMust be able to climb ladder and wear fall protection as necessary\r\n\r\n
