Industrial Maintenance Technician

Our client, a well known food company in San Bernardino, CA is seeking a Technician to join the team.This role involves performing various FSQA (Food Safety & Quality Assurance) functions, inspections, and calibrations to ensure production meets food safety standards.

Responsibilities:

Perform incoming inspections of raw materials, ingredients, packaging, and pallets.Conduct daily tasks such as thermometer, scale, and ATP calibration, and pre-operational, operational, and GMP monitoring.Periodically conduct lab tests, environmental swabbing, air quality collection, and allergen validation.Monitor equipment such as X-ray and metal detectors, ensuring proper calibration.Place non-conforming materials on hold and facilitate disposition.Assist in troubleshooting, corrective action, and preventive action development.Conduct food safety and GMP training for new employees.Communicate important findings and observations with the appropriate personnel.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED.1-3 years of food industry experience.Basic math skills and proficiency in MS Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (Spanish is a plus).Ability to work different or extended hours as required.HACCP certification or knowledge of SQF, BRC, and FSQA software (SafetyChain, Redzone, etc.) is a plus.Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stoop, balance, and crouch.

Pay and Shift:

$19.00 to $21.00/hour2:00 AM – 10:30 AM12:00 PM – 8:30 PM
