Our client, an innovative leader in manufacturing and plastics solutions, is looking for a Mold Maintenance Technician to join their team in Oxnard, CA. In this role, you will assemble, maintain, and repair injection molds to ensure optimal production operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Assemble, maintain, and repair injection molds using tools and testing instruments per specifications and schematics.Conduct visual inspections and tests on molds using electronic test equipment.Diagnose and resolve issues with molds, consulting with supervisors or maintenance teams as needed.Inspect and measure parts to identify wear, misalignment, or other problems.Replace defective mold parts, clean mold components, and lubricate moving parts.Operate metalworking tools such as lathes, drill presses, or grinders to repair or create parts.Collaborate with team members and assist other mold maintenance technicians.Comply with 5S policies and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required.Completion of an apprenticeship or formal training in mold maintenance or a related specialty.At least 5 years of experience in mold maintenance or a related field.Proficient with standard concepts, practices, and procedures in the field.Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to plan and execute tasks independently or as part of a team.

Pay & Schedule:

Pay: $22–$24/hour, depending on experience.Schedule: Monday–Saturday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM.
