Job description

JOB DETAILS

1st Shift: 7am-3:30pm

Pay Range is $30-$40 per hour 

DUTIES AND RESPONSBILIES 

Maintenance Technician II is an Electro-Mechanical position and responsibilities will include but not be limited to supporting manufacturing operations, adjusting and repairing equipment as needed, tracking usage of and ordering replacement parts.

· Diagnose and repair complex electro-mechanical problems with manufacturing equipment · Perform detailed setup on equipment including recipe changes and control adjustments · Repair and keep mechanical machine components in top operating condition · Perform simple to complex mechanical Preventative Maintenance Tasks following instructions · Intermediate understanding of electrical principles such as voltage, current and resistance · Diagnose and repair electrical control circuits, field devices, sensors, photo eyes, etc. · Intermediate understanding of electrical safety and motor control circuits and programmable drives · Troubleshoot the inputs and outputs on PLC and repair issues · Complete projects to add electrical circuits and controls, new equipment and relocate machines · Maintain and repair pneumatic systems including repairs of cylinders and other components · Perform simple to complex mechanical Preventative Maintenance Tasks following instructions · Enter all work completed in computer-based maintenance program · Monitor and report spare parts usage including completing parts order forms

· Adjust equipment based on Statistical Process Control data and team with QA

· Train new and Level 1 mechanics in more complex tasks and skills

Qualifications Associates degree in related field is desiredMinimum 3 years’ maintenance experience in a manufacturing environmentKnowledge of and experience with Lock-Out, Tag-Out proceduresAble to strictly adhere to safety policies/procedures and be committed to customer quality.Must be available for regular standby assignments; work scheduled off-hours and emergency overtime as required.Proficient in Word and ExcelMust be willing to attend training sessions as needed, including out of state locationsAbility to assist in Training Level I TechniciansIntermediate knowledge of fabrication (ex. welding, basic machining)Possess strong work ethic and knowledge of intermediate troubleshootingAble to read printed materials, blueprints, schematics, and computer graphicsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work independently and within a team, including the ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships employees, vendors, contractors, and suppliersAbility to show attention to detail in a very fast paced environmentFlexible and willing to work overtime as required Additional information

The US base pay range for this full-time position is $21.50 per hour to $23.50 per hour + medical, dental, vision benefits starting day 1 + 401k and PTO. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
