As an Industrial Maintenance Technician here at Honeywell, you will have the opportunity to provide advanced technical support and expertise to our customers in the Industrial Automation (IA) business unit. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues, ensuring the successful implementation of our solutions, and driving customer satisfaction. You will report directly to our Field Service Engineering Manager, and you'll work out of our Spartanburg, SC location. In this role, you will impact the efficiency, productivity, and safety of our customers' operations by providing exceptional technical support and service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
\n\nTroubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues for customers.\nProvide expert-level technical support for our Industrial Automation (IA) solutions.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth implementation of solutions.\nLead training sessions for customers and field service technicians.\nStay informed about industry trends and advancements, offering suggestions for improvements.\nHave hands-on experience with PLC systems, sensors, motors, inverters, control panels, hydraulics, pneumatics, and gearboxes.\nConduct both preventive and reactive maintenance tasks.\nUse CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to report work orders and provide breakdown data.\nPerform maintenance and troubleshooting for all electrical and mechanical aspects of Material Handling Equipment (MHE), such as conveyor systems, sortation systems, robotics, and Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS).\nAdjust and maintain scanners, cameras, field buses, and printer applicators.\nReset, repair, or replace adjustable parts (belts, chains, cables) and wear components (guides, bearings, wheels, rollers, pulleys).\nClean, lubricate, and calibrate equipment as required.\nFollow job plans, procedures, and manuals for efficient service.\nMaintain and troubleshoot a range of components, including motors, photo eyes, relays, proximity sensors, solenoids, motor starters, tachometers, and encoders.\nAssist with basic troubleshooting of electronics and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and external Input/Output (I/O) devices\nPerform maintenance and troubleshoot all types of industrial robots.\nUtilize mobile devices and asset management systems to create and close work orders, logging relevant data (labor hours, downtime, causes, solutions, and parts used).\nFollow safety protocols (Lock Out/Tag Out, Arc Flash, etc.), wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and ensure a safe working environment.\nAdhere to company standards, operating procedures, and safety regulations.\n\nPHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
\n\nThe ability to lift 25 pounds individually and 50 pounds as a two-person team, \nThe ability to work above your head for extended period of time while standing, laying, or seated (e.g., 30mins). The ability to lift weights listed above your head. \nThe ability to move safely in confined spaces which may require crawling on hands and knees. \nThe ability to safely climb / descend / work on ladders and stairs frequently. \nYOU MUST HAVE
\n\nAt least 2 years of relevant experience or education in Material Handling Equipment, including conveyors, sortation systems, and mechanical troubleshooting/maintenance/installation.\nStrong technical expertise in Industrial Automation technologies.\nExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.\nAbility to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.\nStrong customer focus and relationship-building skills.\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent.\n\nWE VALUE
