Principal Accountabilities

Must be able to interpret work instructions, formulate plans, and express ideas and concerns effectively to co-workers, maintenance personnel and supervisorsPerform calculations using units of weight (pounds, kilograms), percentages, or fractionsVerify dimensions and clearances of parts to ensure conformance to specifications using precision measuring instrumentsCompleting preventative, predictive, and reactive industrial maintenance throughout the facility and document accordinglyInstalling, maintaining, testing, evaluating, and repairing various mechanical components and systemsOperate a site related CMMS (Computerized maintenance management system)Operating standard maintenance tools such as power, electric, precision maintenance, preventative maintenance technology tools, etc.Utilize maintenance trades and components such as welding, pipefitting, fabrication, gearbox and bearing maintenance, lubrication, pumps and piping systems, mechanical maintenance, hydraulic and pneumatic systems  Interpreting and understanding mechanical schematics, blueprints, and/or operation manuals


Required Qualifications

Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorshipMust be 18 years or olderPrevious Maintenance experienceAbility to read, write, and speak English

Preferred Qualifications

Previous Cargill experience2 year technical degree in Industrial Maintenance/MechanicsExperience using work order systemsExperience with the use of precision tools, fasteners, piping/fittings & valvesExperience cutting and weldingExperience working with packing, sealing or gasket productsWork history in the last 12 months
