Principal Accountabilities

Completing predictive and preventive maintenance measures (including data entry)Repairing and modifying equipment and systems, inspecting buildings, grounds and equipment utilized by the facilityDetermining immediate and long range needs for maintenance and repair work entering work orders utilizing maintenance computer programsOperating standard maintenance tools such as power tools, electric tools, precision maintenance tools, preventative maintenance technology tools, etc.Completing, signing and returning work orders to the Maintenance Supervisor complete with: work description, symptoms, as found, as left, start/finish time, labor hours, deficiencies, delays, and job plan feedbackPerform work as assigned by their supervisorIdentify follow-up work required, work to improve the condition of all facility departments,Work as a team member with a positive attitude, help promote and communicate maintenance and reliability to the organization, andPerform other duties including housekeeping, attending safety training, and attending communication meetings.Operating mobile equipment such as forklifts, loaders, scissor lifts, and aerial liftsFollowing all Food Safety (HACCP), & GMPs policiesUnderstanding and adhering to all safety policies and proceduresOther duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorshipMust be 18 years or olderPrevious Maintenance experienceAbility to read, write, and speak English

Preferred Qualifications

Previous Cargill experience2 year technical degree in Industrial Maintenance/MechanicsExperience using work order systemsExperience with the use of precision tools, fasteners, piping/fittings & valvesExperience cutting and weldingExperience working with packing, sealing or gasket productsWork history in the last 12 months
