This is a full-time, straight day shift position Responsible for safely and effectively repairing, testing, installing and maintaining production equipment and facility systems Identify and troubleshoot machine irregularities and breakdowns on extruders, cut off machinery, packaging equipment, power transmission, power transfer systems, compressors, pumps, grinders, process water cooling systems, shipping doors and gates Work with and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems as well as pumps, gearboxes, bearings, seals and alignment of couplings Perform preventive maintenance tasks as well as breakdown repairs Fabrication for equipment repairs and/or upgrades Fit and assemble parts using a variety of hand tools Perform other duties as assigned
