Here, you will make an impact by: + Completing all maintenance service requests as assigned + Executing maintenance work to maintain efficient operations maintain, install, remove, construct, and repair facility and equipment. + Upkeep of the facility’s manufacturing equipment and other related physical assets. + Supporting installation and start-up of new production equipment + Maintains and repairs manufacturing equipment and facilities using knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and other related trades to ensure optimal operation + Achieves productivity goals and minimizes downtime through completion of preventative maintenance + Meets committed downtimes and turns equipment over those functions properly Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications: + Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed prior to start) + Three (3) years of mechanical and electrical industrial maintenance experience Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: + Secondary education in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or related field preferred + Ability to trouble shoot problems control related systems Work location: + Ames, IA Travel: May include up to 5% domestic Relocation Assistance: Is Not Authorized The starting rate of pay for this position is $35.47 and $36.47/hour.
