**Job Title: Industrial Painter**
**Job Description**
We are seeking an experienced industrial painter to join our manufacturing team. Our facility features a brand new, state-of-the-art paint booth with advanced ventilation and spray technologies. This is a first shift role with hours from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM. Compensation is based on experience.
**Responsibilities**
+ Clearly read and understand specific Work Instructions.
+ Communicate with Supervisor and engineering team to ensure paint process is efficient and effective for each order.
+ Prep all orders for spray booth, including taping, covering, and disassembly.
+ Use a respirator as required for this role.
+ Perform paint prep tasks such as cleaning, sanding, and deburring.
+ Match all colors to customer specifications.
+ Utilize multiple avenues for painting, including brush, roller, and primarily spray booth.
+ Maintain an inventory of supplies like paint brushes, rollers, and other necessary supplies.
+ Assist with estimating time and material costs on painting projects.
+ Clean machines, equipment, and work areas using water, solvents, and other cleaning aids.
+ Review and implement work orders and assignments.
+ Remove and reinstall fixtures such as screws, bolts, and covers as necessary.
+ Follow safety safeguards, rules, and regulations.
+ Perform assembly tasks as required.
+ Work in other areas of the factory as needed.
**Essential Skills**
+ Automotive painting experience.
+ Experience with industrial spray painting and paint booths.
+ Ability to read and understand work instructions.
+ Strong communication skills.
+ Attention to detail in paint preparation and application.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Desire to work in a manufacturing facility.
+ Ability to perform assembly tasks.

**Work Environment**
You will work in a manufacturing environment with approximately 65 plant employees and many skilled machining cells. The facility features new machines, primarily Fanuc and Haas. The spray paint booth is brand new and offers a perfect setting for painters to thrive. Our shop is clean, relatively quiet for a machine shop, and continually invests in capital equipment improvements.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Laconia, New Hampshire.
