Purpose of Role:
An Industrial Painter/ Sandblaster is responsible for preparing surfaces for painting by using sandblasting equipment to remove dirt, rust, and old paint when required. The position also involves the application of paint or coatings to these surfaces using various techniques such as spraying, brushing, or rolling.

Key Responsibilities: Receive, read, and understand work ordersSet up and inspect equipment and, material for workMaintain sandblasting equipment, tools, machinery, etc.Perform blasting work as required and specified as per the work order providedInspect blasted areas for defects, ensure all products are blasted to customer’s specifications and meet quality guidelinesPerform other duties as required, including effective general clean-up and the accurate and timely completion of paperworkNACE or SSPC training is preferred but not required.Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.


Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

Prior Sandblasting and Painting ExperiencePrior Epoxy painting experience and air less spray systems sandblasting experience requiredStrong understanding of surface preparation requirementsAbility to work independently, as well as in a team environmentAbility to work safely with others in a manufactory environment
