**Job Overview**
Jensen Hughes is actively seeking an Industrial Process Safety Engineer to support the IPS service line. The evaluation of dust safety hazards and processes will be a key component of this position. The engineer is expected to possess strong analytical skills, extensive knowledge of safety regulations, and experience in dust hazard safety/industrial process safety.
**Responsibilities**
+ Risk Assessments: Conduct dust hazard analysis (DHA) and process hazard analysis (PHAs) using common industry methodologies and good engineering practices. Such examples of methods and practices include _,_ but are not limited to, what-if analysis, failure mode and effects analysis, fault tree analysis, and HAZOP.
+ Training: Develop and deliver training programs for clients on dust hazard safety standards, process safety standards, emergency response procedures, and safe work practices.
+ Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all processes and procedures adhere to relevant local, provincial/state, and federal regulations.
+ Collaboration: Work closely with the Jensen Hughes engineering team and clients to manage dust hazard and industrial process risks.
+ Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on risk assessments for client facilities, equipment, and processes.
**Requirements and Qualifications**
+ Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
+ Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of dust hazards related to operations, equipment, and process. Knowledgeable of the requirements and applications of NFPA 61, 68, 69, 77, 91, 652, 654, 664, OSHA Directive CPL 03-00-008, and National and Provincial Fire Codes.
