Job Title:  Industrial Procurement Manager Location:  Charleston, West Virginia Company:  Manpower Professional Job Type:  Full-Time Schedule: Traditional Work Hours, Mon - Fri Industry:  Manufacturing / Construction Materials Position Summary: Manpower Professional is seeking a strategic and results driven Industrial Procurement Manager to lead sourcing and purchasing for a high-performing manufacturing operation in Charleston, WV. If you’re passionate about optimizing supply chains, leading teams, and building strong vendor relationships, this is your opportunity to lead procurement with purpose and precision. This role requires strong negotiation skills, overseeing vendor relationships and deep understanding of supply chain processes. Key Responsibilities: + Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with company goals. + Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and maintain strong vendor relationships. + Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production and warehouse teams to ensure material availability. + Analyze market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate supply risks. + Prepare and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. + Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for purchasing activities and report on cost, quality, and delivery performance. + Managing Production Team of ______ employees. + Collaborate with finance and operations teams to forecast demand and manage budgets. + Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards. Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred but not required. + 3+ years of relevant work experience + Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills. + Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite. + Knowledge of inventory management and supply chain best practices. + Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. + Proven history in managing a production team Why Manpower? + We’re local!
