Your mission, roles and responsibilitiesMain responsibilities:
He is responsible for all manufacturing aspects of the programs in his plant. His mission starts from the end of the project acquisition (end of phase 1) until 6 months after SOP.
• Coordinate the assigned program tasks and ensure their fulfillment.
• In agreement with the program manager, technical interface with the client and suppliers.
• According to the PMS, define the launch team and the necessary resources (workload, key competencies and necessary profiles) and coordinate their activities.
• Be the interface between the Program Manufacturing Leader (PML) and the plant.
Product Interface (Manufacturing):
• Prototypes: Review the skills (know how) in the plant according to the requirements, industrial analysis and technical assignments during the manufacturing stage (involving the plant operators).
• Implement all changes related to the production system and/or product (Using the engineering change system).
Production System Development:
• Study, develop in detail, validate, release and fully adjust the program's production system at the plant: machine and tool interface, layout, flow charts, material diagrams and information, lean CAPEX methodologies in accordance with group standards and program objectives.
• Ensure process, equipment and FMEA objectives.
• Coordinate the installation and launch of all program equipment and tooling.
Production Launch:
• Manage the PPAP process at the plant (including MPT [Mass Production Trial] and EMPT [Extended Mass Production Trial]).
• Manage the production launch at the plant.
• Support the production ramp-up.
Objectives and Reports:
• Meet all program objectives at the plant (Quality, Costs, Deliveries, Performance) such as: Machinery and equipment capacity, MPM, PPM’s, Scrap, CAPEX, amortized costs, Added value, logistics costs, Gross Margin.
• Apply the PMS (Program Manufacturing System) and ECC (Engineering Change Management) systems as well as Faurecia tools and standards.
• Ensure that the program’s key dates (milestones) are met on time and satisfactorily. Report all manufacturing risk analyses and their opportunities and action plans.
Qualifications:
• Engineering
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in the automotive industry.
• English Essential. Third language desirable.
