Industrial Refrigeration Pipefitter Harrisonburg, VA 22801 Pipefitter - Industrial Refrigeration ColonialWebb is seeking experienced Pipefitters to join our Industrial Refrigeration. As a Pipefitter, you will layout, fabricate, assemble, and install piping systems, fixtures, and equipment for ammonia, steam, hot water, heating, cooling, and industrial processing systems. Pipefitter’s must be able to travel, majority of the year to service customers in NC, SC, VA, TN. Perks of joining ColonialWebb: + Competitive wages + Career development and progression + 401(k) plan with company match + PTO and paid holidays + Excellent medical, dental, life, vision and disability benefits + Employee Assistance Program + Employee referral incentives What you will do: + Select type and size of pipe and related materials according to job specifications + Cut pipe using pipe cutters, port-a-band saw, cutting torch, and pipe cutting machine + Thread pipe, using a threading machine + Join piping using welded, grooved, threaded, soldered, and/or brazed joints + Install refrigeration and air conditioning systems including compressors, pumps, meters, pneumatic and hydraulic controls and piping + Test piping systems for leaks + Work safely, encourage others to do so, and comply with applicable health and safety-related rules, regulations, and procedures What we are looking for: + Extensive knowledge and working experience as a pipefitter. + Experience with pipe welding or wiliness to learn. + Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations. + Ability to work from drawings, submittals, and specifications. + Maintain a positive attitude and willing to work in a team environment. + Ability to communicate effectively and deal diplomatically with coworkers and other tradespeople. + Ability to work a flexible schedule including unscheduled overtime (nights and weekends). + A reliable source of transportation to and from work.
