Key Responsibilities
Grow sales through development of key account relationships
Ensure that all sales-related activities in the region are efficiently and effectively planned, directed, and carried out
Maintain a good working knowledge of all current and potential customers in the region and maintain an excellent relationship with all key customer personnel
Ensure that the communication channels between the divisions and the customer are always efficiently maintained. Work in conjunction with sales and engineering resources at Ultra Energy to secure sales for the Company
Assist in developing a sound marketing plan for the region that will generate profitable future growth for the Company consistent with long-range objectives
Identify new opportunities for the Company in the assigned regions and implement the necessary capture plans consistent with the objectives for new business
Keep abreast of technological advances, market requirements, and competition in the region as they relate to improve the positions in the market for the Company. Collaborate on marketing and new product development opportunities, as needed
Maintain the reputation of Ultra Energy in assigned territories and markets at the highest level and conduct oneself in a professional, ethical manner always
Always make use of the best possible sales techniques and diligently pursue each opportunity to a successful business conclusion
Forecast the annual business in territory and measure performance against forecast; revise forecast quarterly
Establish, maintain, and routinely update CRM
Establish and document a plan of action to achieve booking goals
Evaluate, revise, and report monthly on plan-of-action
Provide a prospecting plan for new customers annually
Proactively communicate with management on opportunities, threats, areas for improvement, and ways to exceed company sales objectives of core product lines
Travel and presentations to key customers
Other duties as required
Desired Background and Skill Requirements
Degree in marketing or technical discipline
2+ years’ experience in sales
Excellent interpersonal communications skills as well as customer relation skills
Excellent sales skills as well as strong verbal and written communication skills
Dynamic team player, detail-oriented critical thinker, self-motivated, enthusiastic, and resourceful
Customer focused with the ability to grow and support customers and prospects
Proficient with Microsoft Office products including
Travel 50-75% of time
Must be able to work effectively in a team environment
