Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems sector is seeking an Industrial Security Analyst 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Palmdale, CA.
Roles and Responsibilities: Serve as the document control specialist and security operations point of contact on the DoD Security Team. Primarily responsible for processing incoming and outgoing classified shipments, physical security management, and general security support for a classified program. Input and research data in SIMS, excel, and other databases. Knowledge of safeguarding classified material, transmitting classified material, and managing open storage areas in accordance with CFR 32 Part 117, NISPOM.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree with 2 years of Industrial Security experience; 0 years with a Masters Degree or an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree
Candidate must have and be able to maintain an active U.S. Government security clearance at the Secret level with a background investigation date within the last 6 years
Working knowledge of the CFR 32 Part 117, NISPOM
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
Experience working in a DoD collateral environment
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrate a positive working relationship with internal and external customers
Working knowledge of NG and government systems: DISS, JADE, SIMS
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Strong working knowledge of basic office automation tools such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Salary Range: $73,900.00 - $110,900.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
