To learn more about Mission Technologies, click here for a short video: https://vimeo.com/732533072 Job Description Mission Technologies, a division of Huntington Ingalls Industries, has a great opportunity for a Lead Industrial Security Analyst in a 24/7 secured facility to assist with the security administration and enforcement of the security plan at a contract government site in Virginia Beach, VA. In this position you will carry out the security measures necessary for implementing requirements of government security regulations, security policies and procedures. Primary duties include the execution of the daily security program requirements. Adheres to and enforces security policies and procedures required for the classification, downgrading, upgrading, and safeguarding of classified information at the local facility. #LI-MA2 Essential Job Responsibilities + Develops, and administers security programs and procedures for classified documents, and equipment. Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to operations. + Obtains rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies. + Prepares manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting staff and visitors access to restricted records and materials. + Conducts security education classes and security audits. Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken. + Manage all aspects of security activities including document control, visitor control, and personnel security. + Provide guidance and instructions to all employees to ensure any event, circumstance, or act that could be considered a breach of security is reported immediately. + Conduct security trainings, briefings, and debriefings. + Manage, protect, and safeguard all classified materials (receive, control, route, store, mark, package, mail, and destroy all classified materials and their associated records). + Administer Defense Information for Security System (DISS) activity including processing and maintaining personnel security clearances and visit requests. + Maintain visitor control functions and verifying visit authorization requests (VARs) for submission. + Investigate and report security violations and draft incident reports. + Maintain all records in compliance with our security manual and procedures. Minimum Qualifications • 10 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field OR • 8 years relevant experience with Masters in related field OR • High School Diploma or equivalent and 14 years relevant experience. • 24/7 Facility • Manage ALL shifts • ACTIVE Top Secret clearance • Strong knowledge of personnel security; classified information systems Assessment & Authorization; classified contract management and contract security classification specifications (DD254); physical security; insider threat program; counterterrorism and counterintelligence; administrative inquiries, etc. • Strong knowledge and use of Department of Defense systems and applications which includes DISS. • Knowledge and experience enforcing security policies and procedures. • Experienced in the management of a cleared facility. • Strong written and oral communication skills. • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. • Proficient Microsoft Office skills. • Knowledge of the DOE, Intelligence Community, and other Government security regulatory manuals a plus. Preferred Requirements + Facility Security Officer Program Management for Possessing Facilities certificate of completion a plus. + Establishing an Insider Threat Program Course certificate completion, a plus.
