Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking an Industrial Security Analyst / Principal Industrial Security Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located at Roy, UT to support the Strategic Deterrence Systems (SDS) Division.
What you'll get to do
The selected candidate will be the Supporting the Subcontractors Program Security team and will develop and administer Department of Defense Contract Security Classification Specification (DD254). They will handle procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment. Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company operations. Obtains rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies. Prepares manuals outlining regulations for subcontractors and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materials. Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken.

Basic Qualifications
Industrial Security Analyst: Bachelors degree with 2 years of experience; Master’s Degree with 0 years of experience. 4 additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.Principal Industrial Security Analyst: Bachelors degree with 5 years of experience; Master’s Degree with 3 years of experience; or PhD with 1 year of experience. 4 additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.Required for both levels
Must be a US Citizen with an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with the ability to obtain a U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearanceMust have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needAbility to excel in a fast-paced deadline-driven environmentMeticulous record-keeping and responsible for accurate data input into multiple databases/spreadsheetsExcellent writing skills, and organizational skills enabling effective communicationsOrganized and efficient at time managementComputer and desktop Microsoft office software products experiencePreferred Qualifications
Familiarity with 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM) and DoD 5205.07 manualsFamiliarity with Security Information Management System (SIMs)Experience with SLOPACS and DISSPrior Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) ExperienceExperience leading small teamsExperience with SAP inspections and a record of Satisfactory compliance ratingsSalary Range: $63,800.00 - $95,800.00Salary Range 2: $78,700.00 - $118,100.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
