Industrial Security Representative (ISR)/Facility Security Officer (FSO)

The National Security Sector’s Mission Solutions Business Area at Leidos Inc. is seeking an Industrial Security Representative (ISR)/Facility Security Officer (FSO) to work in our Chantilly, VA facility. The National Security Sector combines technology-enabled services and mission software capabilities for defense and intel customers in the areas of cyber, logistics, security operations, and decision analytics. As one of five business areas in this sector, our Missions Solutions Business Area leverages intelligent automation, cyber, systems engineering, AI/ML-driven analytics, modeling and simulations, and secure supply chain logistics to enable mission critical functions such as intelligence and language analysis, tradecraft training, threat assessments, and operational support.

Primary Responsibilities:
Responsible for assisting in the implementation of the industrial security program and ensuring company and customer security requirements are met. The successful candidate will be self-motivated and work with minimal direction both independently and as part of a team. Specific duties include: 
•Interpreting and applying security principles, practices, and procedures to maintain compliance with mission-sponsor and physical security regulations and policies, including Program Classification Guides; DISA security requirements; Intelligence Community Directives; applicable laws, policies, and regulations regarding export-controlled information and technology; 32 CFR Part 117 NISPOM Rule and Industrial Security Letters; and other government regulations, e.g., Department of Defense Manual (DoDM) 5205.07 Vols 1-4, Intelligence Community Directives, DoD-M 5105.21 M1, and Joint Air Force, Army, Navy manuals. 
•Interfacing with all levels of Leidos and government management personnel to ensure contract security compliance with National Industrial Security Operating Manual, Contract Security Classification Specification (DD254) and Program Classification Guides. 
•Conducting security self-inspections, applying risk mitigation methodologies, supporting customer assessments, and implementing security measures to meet requirements. 
•Possessing the ability and confidence to make critical security decisions concerning high value contracts and implementing security procedures that will prevent unauthorized access to company and government facilities or information. 
•Administering day-to-day security programs, personnel processing, program reviews, document control system, audits and self-inspections, violation investigations and reports, receipt/dispatch/destruction/mail logs, visit certifications, etc.

-Customer Relationship Management – Proven track record as a self-starter and experience building partnerships while understanding customers’ mission, vision, and issues and prioritizing work accordingly.

Required Experience:
•Bachelor’s degree and 8-12 years of relevant experience or a Master’s with 6-10 years of relevant experience required
•Certification as a Facility Security Officer and experience in secure facility administration policies and procedures
•Thorough understanding of DoD and IC physical and personnel security requirements and ability to apply Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705 and NISPOM guidance to the facility’s security plans and procedures
•Possess knowledge of Access Control Systems and Intrusion Detection Systems
•Ability to interpret company and government security policies and apply them to program operations
•Candidates must possess an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility & Poly

Preferred Experience:
•Experience in secure facility build out projects
•Accreditation/certifications as a Communication Security (COMSEC) officer
•Experience drafting subcontractor DD254s
•Experience developing and implementing security Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and emergency action plans
•Professional Industrial Security Affiliations

Pay Range:Pay Range $78,000.00 - $141,000.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
