An internship with Moretrench Industrial is a great opportunity to apply the knowledge and skills learned in the classroom to a real-world scenario, with a company that supports learning and development. At Moretrench Industrial, you will learn from highly skilled professionals and experience Moretrench’s broad range of capabilities as it relates to the industrial construction services. We offer a flexible schedule, consisting of 16 to 20 hours weekly (paid). We encourage our interns to get involved with our current projects to further foster the development of their knowledge and skills.
ResponsibilitiesScope of Responsibilities; not limited to:
Review drawing sets, decipher relevant information, and perform ‘take-offs’ to calculate lengths, areas, and volumes as necessary based on the drawingsServe as main point of contact for material and service vendors, providing routine communication as to our current and future needsAssist in the preparation of estimates and budgetsCollect relevant field information and interpret results (i.e.: cycle times, load counts, etc.)Gain field exposure as needed to learn more about the industry and the scopes of work our company performsAttend meetings with clients to discuss future work possibilitiesAttend and participate in internal meetings to discuss potential future projectsAssisting project management and engineering staff with administrative tasks as neededShould there be a more technological interest, work with the technology team in AutoCAD, drone work, and other technological aspects can be arrangedCompany provides all safety and necessary training required#Keller1

QualificationsCandidate Skill Set:
Must possess an interest in the construction industryHas a positive attitude and an eagerness to work and learnStrong computer skills, specifically proficient in ExcelMathematical skillsDetail orientedAbility to work both in a team environment and independentlyProblem-solving and critical thinking skillsActive listening and skillful verbal and written communication skills in EnglishPrevious work experience is a plus
Job Type: 12-week part-time internship
Additional InformationSalary Range: $37,000.00 - $47,000.00
Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant internal and external experience, knowledge, skills, scope of job, geographical location or other factors permitted by law
